The dance dance revolution Wii game is not the first DDR to come out. It’s actually known as Dancing Stage in Europe and it’s a kind of dancing video game. It was certainly revolutionary when it came out on the home game consoles, and now the Wii’s version is available too.
You use a special mat to play this game. It has arrows in a cross barby formation. That’s like an even-sided cross with an outward pointing arrow at each of the four ends. It gives you left, right, up and down dancing directions, and you press the arrows with your feet according to the on-screen instructions.
Dance Dance Revolution Wii is fun The arrow direction instructions are synchronized to the dance rhythm so you can keep time and enjoy the dancing. There are also diamond shapes that move up and down the sides of the screen, and these guide your hand movements. Even if you think you can’t dance, Dance Dance Revolution Wii will prove you wrong!
Of course, you’re not stuck with DDR on the Wii. This is a console where you can do just about anything, except maybe - well, come to think on it, you CAN do just about anything. Nintendo’s Wii is based on revolutionary thinking. It’s a family friendly platform, and not just for game nerds. Your parents will love it - even your grandparents! Though I’d let grandpa go easy on some of the faster dance routines…
